The Editor at Work

Need editing, content marketing, or writing coaching services?

I've got you covered.

PERSPICACITY. BEAUTY. CRAFT.

Whether you’re writing a novel or marketing copy, you want
your readers to be drawn into your unique vision of the world.

How do you do that?

By wielding the tools of the storytelling trades — words, form, punctuation, character, action, etc. — to make your vision real, to make it beautiful. And while writing is often portrayed as a solitary endeavor, professional authors have teams of people who help them along the way.  Editors play one of the most essential roles in getting an author ready to publish.  Whether you're in need of developmental editing, copyediting, or proofreading, I've got you covered.

Expert Guidance for Every Stage of the Writing Journey

MY BACKGROUND

About Me

I began my career as an agent’s assistant at ICM Partners, one of the largest talent agencies in the world, in the Motion Picture Literary Department. I was fortunate to work with agents who were wonderful mentors and had equally wonderful clients.

One of these relationships led to a position with Disney TV Animation, Original Series Development where I worked as part of a team that helped guide show creators from idea stage to a fully realized television pilot with a viable chance for pick-up to series.

I use the storytelling skills I honed in Hollywood to help writers of fiction and narrative non-fiction produce the best possible versions of their stories, whether those stories take the form of an article, book, short story, or screenplay.

I also help businesses and organizations articulate their visions by providing copywriting and copyediting services for marketing materials and websites.

I have a BA in Religious Studies from Principia College and a certificate in Professional Editing from UC Berkeley. I have also been published in the Los Angeles Times.

"I worked with Tiffany on a show of mine that was being developed at Disney TV Animation. Without a doubt, she was the most caring, invested and supportive person on the team; her genuine love for the characters I cared so much about beamed and her feedback was constructive, thoughtful and absolutely essential, delicately balancing the needs of the network with the soul of the characters and the show. I would work with her again in a heartbeat!"

Adam Yaniv, Animation Producer

"I worked with Tiffany on the proofreading of two novels, and found her a joy to work with throughout the process. Professional, prompt, and thorough, she caught every single error I threw her way and provided expert context for any subjective changes. I recommend her to any writer looking to release their work with confidence."

Patrick Canning, Author of The Colonel and the Bee, Cryptofauna

"Tiffany has brought the piece of my business I didn't know I was missing, and now I can't live without her.  She does so much more than just write and edit my marketing materials. She really listens to me, asking questions that help me figure out what I need, then creates a beautiful blog post, email, or Instagram caption.  She has integrity, loves what she does, and wants to make you grow.  Having Tiffany as a consistent part of my business has resulted in more sales and engagement, despite being in the middle of a pandemic.  I tell all my business owner friends that if you want real writing, you hire Tiffany."
